Bernhardt Introduces: Casual

Country house heritage favorites are refashioned, refined, and fun at Bernhardt this Fall.

The classic casual craftsman style takes on a bit of seduction via bindings and strappings, blackened worn metals, high-touch leathers, and see-through design structures.

Featured Pieces:

Huntington Collection – For the lady’s country home, this is a 74 sku whole-home collection in mahogany with a soft Saddle finish. There’s lots of detail: leather belting, basketweave and stitching; worn gunmetal steel outlines and supports. Among them:

342-HFR66 Huntington Upholstered Bed – A very sophisticated blend of glamorous and casual. With subtle saddle shaping on the headboard, this bed is fully upholstered in leather with tiny nailhead outlines all around, including the footed platform. W83 D86-1/4 H68 in.

342-510 Huntington Desk – Authentic, not corporate. This craftsman desk features a worn gunmetal steel base. Inset saddle brown leather panels on drawers and all around. Mahogany in a Saddle brown finish. W64-1/8 D25-3/8 H31 in.

342-113 Huntington Leather Chest – Casual with a bit of punk rock attitude. This chest is fully wrapped in a very dark brown leather. Decorative nailheads in a classic Gothic tracery pattern. W421/2 D181/4 H44 in.

584-021 Dunhill Cocktail Table – Hard graphic and glamorous. Blackened bronze metal framing and seethrough glass make for a very strong attitude in this table. W56 D28 H19 in.

N5002L Aspen Chair – Harness materials bring a rugged outdoorsy vibe to this modern form. Double leather strapping with a large working buckle, to adjust the leather sling back as time goes by. A warm colored, brushed steel frame. W24 D24 H30 in.

342-214 Huntington Chest – This is comfortable craftsman style. A classic cabinet with the surprise of gunmetal steel framing and hardware. Built in mahogany solids and veneers with a Saddle brown finish. W44 D20 H34-1/2 in.

Bernhardt’s Fall introductions will be available to consumers in April 2013.
