Shoppers Search For Simplicity or Vintage Handmade Looks, Bernhardt Occasional & Upholstery Designs Respond

Pompano Cocktail Table

Santa Clara Demilune Console

Buchanan Leather Sofa
April 17, 2010 - LENOIR, NC - Picky shoppers are asking for one of two design directions in decor: either practical simplified modern looks, or goods with the look of handmades crafted from natural materials. This spring, Bernhardt answers the call in upholstery and occasional offerings.
Upholstered seating includes 52 new designs in fabric covers, 32 in stationary leather, and nine reclining styles including several power motion frames.
Occasional introductions include a wide array of metalwork including blackened, hammered, patinaed and twisted. Groups built in woods are either sleek clever modern, or practical classic designs with vintage woodland charm.
Featured pieces shown:
Santa Clara Demilune Console 459- 910/910C - Straight from the metal workshop. Recycled and hammered copper top. Intricate, delicate scrolled legs and stretcher of blackened and twisted stainless steel. A traditional Spanish flavor. This is a simple way to transform any dull hallway or wall space. W56 D21 H32.5. Also available in this design: four round cocktail and end tables. All available with glass tops.
Buchanan Leather Sofa 3517L - Newest iteration of a classic leather gentleman’s sofa. Giant panels of true fullgrain aniline leather, a well padded envelope arm, high back. A current trend toward cowboy chic only increases the appeal of this rich antiqued leather seating. Nestle in. W97 D44 H38.5. This design is also available in a loveseat, chair and ottoman.
New occasional groupings also include:
445 Venice. Traditional modern with Sheraton reference. Antiqued cherry veneers with
raised and inlaid walnut accents, turned legs.
447 Albany. Planked tops of flat cut cherry veneer, slim urn turnings on the legs, shelved.
