Mindfully Curated Collection Expands Further

April 17, 2010 - LENOIR, NC - Bridging the gap between closed showroom and retail design, the BERNHARDT INTERIORS program of fashion-forward collected designs expands today to some 300 total skus, including 75 new introductions.

Carefully curated, this whole home collection includes customizable upholstered seating, dining room and bedroom pieces and modern accents.

NEW IN LIVING ROOM
New upholstery bodycloths are offered in subdued colors of wool, linen and wovens that will work in casual or dressy settings. All are available in a variety of colorations or in customer’s own material (COM) with a three week delivery.

These sophisticated covers are invigorated by throw pillows and accent fabrics that feature a bit of whimsy, embroidered stitching, or natural motifs that bring the outdoors in. These include a Missoni styled miniature flame stitch (wing chair); a butterfly motif woven (sectional pillow),a double cloth pocketweave, like a matelasse, which creates a three dimensional effect that imitates pebbles (bench cushion), and fabrics with subtle metallic sheen.

As designated relaxation rooms continue to top the list of consumer home renovation, modular sectionals that can be moved around to fit the crowd rise in popularity. The Adriana Modular Sectional is one of two new styles added to modulars existing in the BERNHARDT INTERIORS collection.

Kicking up the glam in living room are occasional pieces constructed with unusual materials like crushed limestone, parchment patterned leather, faux crocodile, and black granite. Environmentally friendly bamboo veneer is used on select living room accents (bench).

NEW IN DINING ROOM
Introductions include a clean contemporary dining group in broken ribbon stripe mahogany veneer, plus new solid mahogany plank-top styles in a warm Umber finish. A program of customizable upholstered dining chairs expands with two new contemporary styles, bringing total upholstered chair skus to eight.

NEW IN BEDROOM
A unique Brentwood Wraparound Screen Bed (320-HFRU66) featuring a fully upholstered room screen that wraps around an upholstered panel bed, with room to place night tables within the screened area – fabulous for adding intimacy to large bedroom spaces.

Also new in upholstered beds: customizable leathers. Buyers can choose black, brown or cream colored premium leather upholstery. BERNHARDT INTERIORS upholstered beds are offered in twin, queen, king and California king sizes, and may be customized with a three week delivery schedule.

New casegoods for bedroom include contemporary nightstands available in a choice of two finishes: Obsidian or Bianco, a white paint finish.

Sloane Wing Chair N2213 - Appears to be one of a kind. An unabashedly feminine wing chair with a vintage sophisticated feel. Covered in a Missoni styled miniature flame stitch weave on the inside and burgundy velvet with heavy textural mottling on the outside. Curvy dark wood outline, diminutive rolled arm. Adriana Modular Sectional N1530/36/37 - Fun and fresh. This three-piece sectional pays particular attention to comfort – both visual and tactile. Plush cushioning and padding interact vibrantly with the body – so comfortable, and the piece is large enough to actually accommodate three people. Natural colored all cotton bodycloth (available in a variety of colors). Throw pillows bring cheerful bits of nature inside: a woven butterfly, a mini flame stitch, and a leaf-green softly shirred woven.W126.25 D68 H36.

Lansford Dining Table 320-262B/263B - Smart lines. A simplified stag leg is appropriately balanced with a round top in radiating patterns of rich, broken ribbon stripe mahogany Dark Amber finish. Alludes to traditional Sheraton design,but in the most dashing way.W60 D60H30.

New BERNHARDT INTERIORS introductions will be available to consumers in Fall 2010 from designers or retailers with design-oriented customers.
